was he god or son of god ... because god can not be son of god ..
if he was son of god then he can not be god because son needs time .. and god does not need time ... i.e. there must be a time difference in being god and being son .. i.e. if god is eternal .. then son can not be eternal .. because he happened after god being ..
and .. do you have any proofs proves he was son of god .. please do not tell me bible .. because everyone can point to any book to prove something .. and for example .. did abraham or noah mentioned to jesus as son of god in their earlier books .. ?

jeetu ferriera ....
you know all holy books (except bible) talked about prophets .. only bible mentioned to something can be a mention to son of god ( you claims that .. not me ) ..
so why this unordinary difference between bible and the other holybooks .. why this unordinary difference between jesus and the other prophets .. if you still claim jesus as son of god or god himself .. so what was our sin to be unable to see son of god or god himself .. because there was people saw jesus ...

Jesus was the Son of God. He said himself that "the Father is greater than I" (John 14:28). And God himself spoke from heaven, announcing: "This is my Beloved Son: hear him" (Luke 9:35)
That Jesus was real can be seen when you consider the tremendous number of followers who were willing to die because of their belief in him and his teachings. These ones I am talking about would have been alive at the same time as Jesus, or shortly after. So they would have been able to talk with those who walked with Jesus, and saw his miracles. (The Bible says that over 500 people saw Jesus alive after he was killed.)

The Trinity is a hard thing for any of us to comprehend. It is impossible to explain the Trinity without using the Bible because that is where we get our information as to the nature of God.

The Bible clearly speaks of God the Father, God the Son (Jesus Christ), and God the Holy Spirit...and also clearly presents that there is only one God. Thus the term: "Tri" meaning three, and "Unity" meaning one, Tri+Unity = Trinity.

It is a way of acknowledging what the Bible reveals to us about God, that God is yet three "Persons" who have the same essence of deity.

It might help to read Isaiah 44:6, "I am the first and I am the last,And there is no God besides Me." Then read Revelation 1:17, "Do not be afraid; I am the first and the last." Then go to Ephesians 4:30 "Do not grieve the Holy Spirit of God, by whom you were sealed for the day of redemption." All three scriptures are talking about God. God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit.

I know it is confusing, but I hope this helps.
God bless you.

If you are truthful in wanting a desent answer I will try.

We have to think of things in something other then our frame of thinking. We being humans are thinking of things in a 2 demenitonal kind of way. I have to see it to understand it. kind of like that.

I have a friend of mine that that tryed to explain god the father, god the son, god the holy ghost as one person but seperate, all equal unto eachother. God being all powerful could 'send' part of himself to earth and be born and live and teach people and die and come back to life.

You said that the son needed time,. Time for what I might ask.

I do not think anyone can 'show' you proof that jesus was the son of god and god all at the same time. That has to just come from faith in believing it.

Blessed be.

The Bible is the True Word of God, and yes, they are the same. Jesus is God in the flesh. Isaiah talks about the birth of Christ, chapter 9 and in Daniel.

Friend, you have looked at the bible wrong, Yes Jesus was THE SON OF GOD & NOT GOD, But you have to understand, That Jesus did not come by the sex act, that would have put sin in his life, but Jesus came by the Virgin birth, with no traces of sin in him, yet he still had to die for our sins. & Jesus did & does have eternal life, As for as if Jesus was in the beginning with God in Heaven, from the beginning of time,NO he wasn't, Only in the Mind & thought of God. Friend now you have looked at my answer wrong, Yes I was in the Mind of God before the Foundation of the world, & so were you. Everything that you see, was in God's mind before the foundation of the world.

No Abraham and Noah never mentioned him as a son of God...He is a prophet of God who came to earth with a message from God.he was a human.

YUSUFALI: The similitude of Jesus before Allah is as that of Adam; He created him from dust, then said to him: "Be". And he was.
