what are some small gifts i can get for my girlfriend? id like to stay away from food somewhat cause she is a little on the heavy side and she knows it and dont want to make her feel bad about herself.

I'm a U.S. soldier deployed in Iraq with a wonderful woman waiting for me back home. We will be apart this Xmas and I wanted to get her something really special. Looking for something I can order online and have sent to her. I've thought about some nice jewelry but she's a a collegiate athlete and not much of the stereotypical girly-girl type. Also she is a Canadian attending school in the U.S. so maybe something that a Canadian girl would appreciate? Thanks to all who reply.

It was Martin Short and his "brother," and they were preparing to go to the Olympics in synchronized swimming. Then they said there wasn't a men's event in the upcoming Olympics, and one of them said, "Which is good, because frankly, we could use the time." And Martin Short couldn't swim so he wore a lifevest or something?? Anyone else remember this?

Okay, i have only heard this song once before but i don't know what its called. I think its country and it is about this little girl, who's mom drinks, the little girl meets a little boy and they talk to each other through their windows at night. I am 52, my partner is 55. He had a vasectomy 25 years ago, but never went for tests afterwards. Because of my age and the fact that he had the operation made me pretty sure I could not get pregnant. He's done this a couple of times now. He usually starts hinting around by saying things like "you can't feel that can you?" and then escalates to all out humiliation where I'm talking about how good other guys are. He usually ends up wanting me to talk about having sex with a black man who's really hung. Can anyone provide insight? I'm somewhere in between surprised and o.k. with it but also thinking he's going to suggest adding a third person to our sex life. Thoughts please...and please be kind, I'm serious.

I was watching something about the elections. An they said say if the House was 48 Dems. 2 Indep. An 50 Repub. i heard the Indep. vote for the Dems. Is that true? I thought they were independent. So they would vote; 48/2/50. Thanks for the input.

Im a 21/F and have been constipated for over 2 years now. I dont eat the best food but I eat a lot better than most people and I am always constipated. For the record I am about 140 lbs. I have gained over 20 lbs in 2 years since I moved out. I had really bad cramps so I went to the emergency room and I found out the cramps were being caused because I was extremely constipated so they gave me some powder to mix into water that I have to drink every morning for like 3 days. So I did that and it worked and I was ok for about a week and then my constipation came back. I am now eating better than I have been and am eating salads and vegetable soup and I drink about 2 bottles of water a day and I am staying away from cheese!.....but nothing has changed, im still really constipated!! Besides the emergency room I havent been to a doctor in almost 4 years now because I dont have insurance. Could I possibly have a condition that is causing the constipation? Could it be colon cancer?

I mean if we are what we eat, what is a cow or a pig if the only thing it eats is, grain, corn, grass, and water. Isn't he what we call a vegetarian? If so, then please pass the processed cow (steak)(ham) I'm hungry. Sick and tired of being critisized for eating steak. One more thing, I like veggies too.
