why would you want to stop

People may scare you and say you run the risk of cervical or ovarian cancer, but that is false. Ask the nuns if you're not sure.
Nothing happens. Life goes on and your creative urge will be directed into something else productive.
There is nothing wrong with giving up sex. If you need to have it again, that is easy. If you feel no need for it, your life can be happy and fulfilled in other ways.
These things happen, and it is fine. Don't be swayed by the general viewpoint.

Do you mean your 36 and you don't feel like sex anymore, if so maybe a visit to the doctors would be advisable if its become a huge worry to you, it could just be hormonal that's all, are you worrying about something or stressed, if so they could be the reasons too, put your mind at rest and go see your doctor, good luck.

At whatever age, stopping to have sex is probably better than having sex on the run. Unless of course you are very athletic and limber.

If you mean stop having sex, nothing will happen. You may get a strong sexual urges, but you can take care of them yourself.
