I mean if we are what we eat, what is a cow or a pig if the only thing it eats is, grain, corn, grass, and water. Isn't he what we call a vegetarian? If so, then please pass the processed cow (steak)(ham) I'm hungry. Sick and tired of being critisized for eating steak. One more thing, I like veggies too.

In a way, yes, we are what we eat, but I prefer "You are what you don't excrete". It's a bit more elegant (and accurate!)

in a way this is true. if we eat lots of fruit and vegetables then
we will be healthier. if we eat french fries, big macks , and cake all the time we will be very unhappy, fat, and slow at sports. i wouldn't say we are what we eat. i would say what we eat has a conciquience. wether we will be happy, live longer, have a healthy weight verses beign fat, eating all you want, unhappy most of the time, and not so athletic. you decide.

That's not always true.
If that were true, then people who eat bull would be full of bull, and that's not fair.
