MY 9 year old wants an IPOD.. Im not even sure exactly what an IPOD is/does. Other than let you download music..

1. Is she too young?
2.Does it cost you money to download music?
3.Do you download from the internet or can you download like a CD as if you were burning it?
4.What else does an IPOD do?
5.Is there different types? Other than the GB's?

I guess I'm pretty clueless about them.. Any info would be greatly appreciated..I don't want to be one of those parents who get their kids things they don't understand. I have this need to understand what my children have their hands in. lol..

I just got baptized yesterday and decided to fast for three days, I figure if Jesus can do 40 days I can do three. I have EXTREMELY low body fat and was wondering if my muscles will atrophy after three days. I normally eat much more than the average person, but never gain weight. Its been one day and I'm STARVING, I'm going to be deciplined and go the whole 3 days, but was wondering what to expect. I'm already starting to feel slightly euphoric, anyone have experience fasting.

Why after you tell a guy you can't talk to them because you are afraid that you care for him too much and your BF said you can't talk to him anymore the guy can't answer me and say he understands? Why does he have to ignore me..if he is my friend can't he understand? so everyone says that i should A : get a qujia board and find out if ghost live in my house B: get a voice recorder and try to have a convo with them or C: just ignore it if it dosent hurt me...my mom rasied us as jehovah witnesses and although i dont practice any religon we were taught that deamons ( or whatever) can live in your house .. i remeber being in my aunts and the tv turned on and off even tho it wasnt plugged in .. freaky !!! im also remeber being to that demons can not move with you .. but along the same concept.. like if you take along your same stuff from one house to another the demon (again .. whatever) might follow you ...i dont want to start going to church just to get rid of demons and then stop when they leave.. but something creepy is in my house (for more infro click my name and read the paranormal question ).. im freaked out .. i know its a lot but im scared and would love some help .. sorry for making u read so much and thanks

i found i figurine at the local flea market. it is Asian looking.It is man in full robe and has many words on it that i can not decode at all. i am convinced that it ivory.isaw a web site that stated that a red hot pin or needle jammed up into the figure will show melting if it is fake.Test or no test I think it is a very nice piece.my mother in law is sure it is fake only because she paid to have something of hers checked out and was indeed conned,with her jaded i8nfo my husband(her son)thinks the same way.i need to find the best test.please help.

the check engine ligth came on always when the temperature is in the half or less but i change the temperature censor

If this god of yours is so great, why am I convinced more and more everyday at him being a complete fable and fraud because I have something that's been described as "a doctor's worst nightmare" and without any cure whatsoever?

If anything, being stuck with this horrible disease is what pushed me towards Atheism to begin with. I prayed and prayed, but not a ******* thing happened. Still, nothing can be done. What kind of tyrant would do such a thing to a person? Why would this omnipotent creature even create it to begin with?

I can't see how you can sit there and tell me with a straight face that if this god of yours were real, he loves me and did it out of love and/or whatever. If he is real, he's nothing but a tyrant and I don't see how anyone can say otherwise, nor even consider worshipping such a monster. There isn't anything that can be gained from this, if he were real and loving, instead of fake or a tyrant, he'd make it go away.
