It all ties in to the Chaos Theory - the more complicated something becomes, the more likely that the system that supports it will break down or become blocked by opposing forces (age and disease).
Don't get me wrong - I feel that the elderly are one of our country's most wasted natural resources, since elderly people are the living memory of our various cultures. I grew up in a mobile home park where 95% of the people were over 65 - and I was a young teen. I learned more (and aged faster, I'm only 34 and almost all my hair is grey already >.< LoL, just kidding - the hair is my dad's fault) than any other kids my age, and they looked at me odd - I hung out with "old people".....
Looking back, I'd say the same thing now that I said then - "I'd rather hang out with "old people" and learn something I didn't know before, than hang out with you and make mistakes they already learned from......"

when were young there's no tomorrow, when were older a truer reality sets in, because there's more boo-boo's to count. Life becomes real and the young dream fades.
