She breaks every rule, disregards customers needs and is self absorbed and a liar..and the job market to hire is extremely scarce..what would be better...fire her or close on those shift nites and put a note that when we find good dependable and caring staff members we will reopen..and hopefully ASAP....or any other suggestions...our numbers are going down every month

When I was a young'un my Dad would take me to cattle auctions. Once, while I was wandering around, I found a monarch's issue out back of the arena. Dad was inside because he wanted to buy a Bull. When I went and showed him what I had found he had me take it up to the auctioners, so it could be returned to its owner.

Yet no one blames George Bush for crimes committed by American's?

Is George Bush responsible for the high rates of murder, rape, crimes against children etc?

I think he is guilty and should be treated like Saddam.

This guy I went to prom in april with is driving me nuts. I tried for a long time not to like him and its not working. Over the summer we hung out a lot and things progressed slowly and we are going to snowball together next saturday but he told me he doesnt want a gf right now. I am over at his house a ton and his parents like me and all 7 siblings really like me but he is sending me mixed signals. I confronted him one day about dating and found out he went on a date with another girl. He said nothing happened and he didnt want me to be mad but dude!! He does all sorts of sweet stuff like keep me warm when I'm cold and when I dont feel good in class he will ask me whats wrong and he seems to want to be there for me but is it possible that he just doesnt want a gf now. Could it progress to that someday? We are really good friends and have known each other for a long time! Thanks!!

I find it a strange paradox that there is so much violence in such a publicly declared holy period.

In addition, when the Pope reads something about violence and the Muslim faith from the 14th century, the immediate response is violence! So could someone explain the disconnect?

Which one has offered a plan to insure that people can afford to run the heater this winter and pay for prescriptions needed to stay alive .Social security benefits have not kept up with inflation .
We have the largest homeless population short of war torn nations and third world poverty .
We have the largest debt in history and no end in sight to spending and a growing government .
We have created a justice system that has incarcerated more of its people then any free society around the world .
We have 30,000,000 people right at the poverty line and 15,000,000 below it .
Who is going to fix the major problems facing America while people argue over abortion ,gun control , executions ,and if gays should be allowed to marry.
Those issues pail in comparison to the 40 million Americans who need something to change in America in order to crawl out of poverty and despair .
Seems the poor can get medi-care to cover a happy pill so they do not feel the pain of living in despair .
CHANGE IT.

condemnation, how do you respond to this remark?
Isn't this a double standard in the usage of tolerance by those who claim to be tolerant?

A lady at work lost her daughter to cancer. We sent out an email stating that if people would like to donate money, we were going to provide food to the family. People donated money, and then the other girls in my department decided to just give the money to our coworker. Is that proper, or should they have used the money for what we had specified it was going to be used for? I objected but my coworkers insisted that we help her out by reimbursing money she has already spent. What do you think?

After having several philosophy courses i have come up with the following philosophy. The world is so divided these days as this relegion hates the tenets of that relegion and this culture can't abide the ways or that culture. All these differences are differences of philosophy so if perception defines reality isn't it fair to say that what any given individual beleives to be true(outside of factual information) is true for that person. I beleive in personal philosophy bubbles-much like personal space bubbles- an area in which all you hold to be true is true. If everyone believed this than noone would have too hate and fight anymore. You could sit next to someone who disagreed with everything you hold sacred and yet not feel threatened or the need to convert them. You are right in your bubble and they are right in their bubble. Doesn't this make more sense than war?
