Is it fair that for an insurace claim, certain people's lives are worth more than others? For example, a police officer's life may be worth more money to his family than a researcher's does to his. I'm talking more general but this, but who's to say that the researcher wouldn't have cured cancer, or that the policeman would have gone nuts and took out his family. Or the other way around...

If a woman is over 35 with no baggage (emotional or otherwise) is she ever likely to be asked out by a guy around the same age? Or do men in their mid to late 30's only date young woman?

I know you don't know me and it does have a lot to do with the person as an individual - their looks (I'm not a fugly), their personality (I'm loads of fun) - but should I start housing stray cats now?

I loved that show I thought it was so good... would it have killed the network to keep it going for the rest of the show like what was it 2months left and then we would know everything and wouldnt have been left hanging I hate when networks do that!! they should have just let the show finish it wouldnt kill them...anyone agree with me??

I used to be very athletic (played varsity sports), and still work out lightly, but a bad knee keeps me from competing or even doing the types of rides and runs I used to do (went from 20-40 mile bike rides to 5-10 miles, etc.). Yet I still like sports, and have the "athletic mind"--is volunteering at the events a good way to stay involved and meet people with like interests?

I started working at a software company as helpdesk consultant about 5 mounths ago. Ok i want to be a model and everyone says i should be because im tall and thin and very cute and pretty but i have very low self esteem like i have no confidence in myself. everyone says im pretty and i dont really believe them and on top of that i think im fat. I'm trying to come up with something over the top and fun to do for my sisters birthday. She will be 14 in December and we will be spending the weekend near the Mall of America. I am thinking about renting a limo but am not to sure where we should go once we have it. Does anyone have any fun and interesting ideas for a 14 year old? Most programs don't recognize the files format, and other ones tell me they are damaged or something. I managed to open the files with a software called VLC media player. In spite of that, I tried to make a new file with a new extension with the mentioned program but that new file didn't work on windows media player. The original file extension was Asf but (as I said previously) most programs weren't able to open it, or even recognize it...... I need to run those files on windows media player or other standart software because i need other people to open the files
