Yes! My husband takes his lunch to work with him. We buy all of the drinks/snacks there so that we don't have to worry for another month or two about what he will bring for lunch. Also--we buy some 200+ diapers at a time which last well over a month for only about 35 dollars. Meat is also good to get there. Just break it down into different sizes that you normally eat For example you get 16 chicken breasts--divide them into separate bags of 4 this way you have 4 different bags of chicken breasts and you don't have to defrost all 16 and use them quickly but you can just defrost what you need. While they do come in bulk you can re-bag and freeze them so they fit your needs--which makes things much cheaper! Another big savor is for parties--you can buy everything in bulk. I love my Sam's Club membership. While I may only go about once a month--it's worth it!

Costco doesn't necessarily cary the cheapest, they will cary the best brand at the cheapest price. Sams is walmart with a membership. Costco does have some great deals and bulk items but I dont think it is a money saving measure. If your really looking for bargains, you have to shop around and go to Food for Less, Pack and Save etc. I buy things like hand soap, toothpaste at the dollar store first before I go to the grocery staores and see what they have on my list.

It depends on what you are getting. Sometimes the meat can be a good deal because for like $15 you can get a huge container of stew meat and it is enough for 3 HUGE crockpots full of beef stew. Crackers are a really good deal there too. I get my son's diapers there. I use the Costco brand and for the same price as the huggies there I get like 20 more diapers. The are $29.99 and the ammount varies depending on the size. My son is wearing size 5 and you get 140 diapers. My mother in law and I split items at Costco, like cereal, meats, onions, etc

Costco and sam's club are great but only if you are constantly buying in bulk, I have three young children and I love costco for getting food, but I still always need to go to the regualr grocery store. Just try it out memberships are not expensive if you don't use it don't renew.

There's only three of us, too (plus one dog who thinks she's human). We have a BJ's memebership (another warehouse club). We save tons of money on so many things!
I would recommend a membership to anyone... even people who are only buying supplies only for themselves. Here's what I would suggest to find out if a membership is right for you... take your regular shopping list, go into the store and compare prices. See how much you could save at the warehouse store on a regular basis. You could even use a one day pass to see how much a shopping trip would be.
I think you'll find that it's definitely worth it!

I say yes, the savings on diapers and wipes alone in one year is worth paying the fee. We also buy their frozen chicken, fruit snacks, bread, breakfast bars, and even the milk and bananas are cheaper. I've kind of stayed away from their other produce though, I've found it always goes bad before we eat it all. The gas is usually cheaper and we do use that when we are nearby. Also things like dishwasher detergent and laundry soap are a good deal! I say go for it!

My mom has a membership to Sam's club. They sell everything in bulk and she really saves money. She use to buy me diapers for my kids there and she would get a huge box for cheap. I dont know how much selection they have on food but I do know she gets toilet paper, paper towels and such for really good prices.

I think it depends on how big your family is....We were advised to get a Sam's Club membership, And did so, And once we got there, found out that most of their food items are SO much in bulk, That it goes bad before we can eat it. (There are 4 of us)...But if you have a large family, Or a very hungry family (lol) then yes, It's worth it.
