A close neighbor has passed away, and I would like to prepare some food for her family during this time. I am not Jewish and I'm not aware of the traditions surrounding this sad time. I am also now aware as to how kosher or non-kosher the family is. I would like to prepare something that is kosher, just to be considerate. Is this possible in my kitchen?

Now i have heard it is best to defrost meat in the fridge instead of counter. But it seems to take like two days to do this. Is it ok to defrost on a plate on your counter top?

I was recently forwarded the website for Family Watchdog, the national sex offender registry. I looked up my address, and was confused by the different titles for the sex offenders. I was wondering what the difference, if any, is between "Rape of a child" and "Child Molestation" convictions. Also, would there be a label for statutory rapes?

they made me a officer of corp. so the could avoid paying workmans comp. also I was supposed to have 1 share in the company --now they say get lost. they let me go saying they have no work -- thats a lie. am I supposed to get a severence pay of somekind .can anybody help me get some kind of justice.(ps. dont ever even think bout wrking for family-- it wil destroy it!.)

Companies are making a killing off high definition TVs, DVRs, and DVDs. I just went through a miserable experience trying to upgrade. I went and bought a High Definition 26" TV for $600 (good price). Then, I found out I had to also upgrade to a HD DVR, which was an additional $300 and a waitlist to get one! Then, I also had to upgrade our Satelite dish! And, I have to get a high definition DVD! Another $400! So, in total I spent over $1300 and this was just for our BEDROOM tv!!! Now, I have to do the same for the family room? The demand is high enough, so we are at their mercy to get it! And, pay an arm and a leg for it! Can you believe that the FCC has mandated that analog signals will not be allowed as of February 17, 2009? Everything will be digital!!! What are your thoughts?

I currently ride a CBR600 F4i. The seat heigh is perfect but I'm looking to buy another bike. Almost everyother 600cc bike out there from Kawsaki to Suzuki has a seat height by at least an inch more. I'll need to lower the bike to fit my 30-31'' in leg height.

im following this diet from slimming world magazine . Before i started the diet i went to the doctors he did blood tests including thyroid and everything is fine.
Before i was on the diet i have not lost any weight and not put any on either but since doing this i have put on five pounds in 4 days . im not due for a period either!
Is there another explanation to as to why this has happened ?
i feel like giving up :(

My friend likes this guy and I kinda started liking him because we have two classes together. He and I study for most of our tests together.I see him in class staring at me and when I look at him he looks away. Another thing he does is look at me and then I look at him and he smiles at me. Had my ears checked and could find nothing. A year ago when I got two bad episodes and was in bed for a week with the room spinning the doctor said I had Labrinthytis and there is no cure. Over this last year I still have a constand problem when I lay down and get up or move to fast. It is awful what can I do?
Any websites to find out what could be causing this?
