No, you can't prepare a truly kosher meal in your kitchen since you, yourself, do not keep kosher.
Why not tell your neighbor you'd like to cook something, but don't know if they "keep kosher." If they do, they'll tell you; then you'll know not to cook, but to give them something else. I'm sure they'll appreciate your sensitivity and thoughtfulness.
Peace.

It's way too difficult to get into the nitty-gritty of how to cook a kosher meal. If the family keeps kosher, I assume they live near a place where they can shop for ready-made frozen kosher dinners. But be warned, even if you go that route, warming the food will be a challenge because you would need a "kosherized" oven or microwave.
It is traiditonal to serve mourners foods which are round, to symbolize the cycle of life.

Because you are not certain of the very intricate details of kosher law, it would be best to show your support in some other way, or, if you know the synagogue they attend, you may see if someone there would be willing to have you buy materials and prepare the meal for you and then come with you to present it so the family will know that it was prepared properly.
If you happen to know of any restaurants the family eats at, you might also offer to take them out to eat -- that way you can provide the meal by paying for it but they will be in a position to make their decisions as to what they eat and if they follow kosher or not, entirely on their own merits without you having to worry about the topic at all.

cooking a kosher meal in a non kosher kitchen is complicated if you do not know what you are doing sense I have no clue about what you are cooking and how I cannot advise you on what you should and should not do.
I suggest that if you want something kosher find a near by kosher bakery and buy something from there.

I am not Jewish, but I have learned that on many grocery products you will see the letter K surrounded by a circle. That means that particular item is Kosher.

I don't know where you live or if you have access to Kosher foods, but what you can do is bring bagels, cream cheese and lox. Check the packages for the U or K in a circle symbol. Don't open them in your home, do it in theirs using their dishes and knives and forks. Koshering a kitchen isn't for just one meal, and the separation of meat and milk is imperative.

My first determination is the Kolkata Knight Riders. would not remember who performs for it or who would not, this is my domicile and that i think i need to be unswerving to it. Then comes RCB because of the fact my widespread present day cricketer performs in it, Virat Kohli, yet i might by no skill % them to win the trophy because of the fact I haaaaattttteeeee their proprietors. -_- they should lose the semi finals every time. yet, I relatively have considered a lot of my classmates hate KKR for no reason and help communities like RR & RCB and enjoy while KKR loses. Had a great altercation final night and desperate to assist basically my domicile group, Virat Kohli & Rahul Dravid. no longer their communities. i began out helping RCB as my 2d group from the 1st season for the reason that they had adult men like Dravid & Kumble. BQ: got here approximately in basic terms the former day. some adult men did start up making relaxing of KKR after the loss yet I took it actually and it replaced into in spite of the undeniable fact that appealing to work out a grin on Dravid's face after the journey. desire this would not happpen lower back reason the subsequent journey is KKR v RCB. :P and that i help Delhi too because of the fact that a lot of my kin stay there and that i circulate to frequently, a delicate corner, in basic terms. In short, no. In long: it's almost impossible, as you would need to clean your oven and all of your utensils with a blowtorch to start.
