I purchased a bedroom furniture set from Lack's furniture. I got a great price as this set was being discontinued. I did the 12 month no interest contract. Now I am being told the furniture is no longer available. They would like me to come in and pick out another set, at a discount price of course. They want me to cancel the first contract and start over. I want them to honor the contract in place. What is their obligation? What is mine? Is this what is referred to as "Bait and Switch"?

Hi there,

I was planning on shipping chocolate as holiday gifts to friends, mainly in bar form. Does anyone know if there are packaging regulations I should be aware of for shipping food?

Also, How should the chocolate be packed? Does anyone think there would be a melting concern if it is being shipped in the northern US? I'm worried about it sitting in a toasty post office somewhere?

Anyone have an experience shipping chocolate?

My daughter has been doing well in school. She had all a's and b's until last year. In her tenth grade year she got a C in math. She has taken high honor classes since junior high, and is now in two advance placement classes. She is in eleventh grade. All her life I have encouraged her if she did well she would be able to get scholarships, maybe even a full scholarship. I think the C took care of that she will no longer qualify for the national honor society. (I think) I am not considered low income by the goverment standards. I am disabled and my husband is a plumber. I have three other children. I just have not saved enough, although I have tried. My daughter is really wanting a law degree. She wanted to go to Michigan State. We live in New York. Any Idea how to achieve this goal? I know there are loans and grants available. How do I find these and How do I go about applying and know which ones to apply for. My daughter is about to give up her goal. She knows we dont have the money.

I came across a product call "Mouse and Rat repeller" its state it has an powerful ultrasonic wave to repel mice and rat but inaudible to humans and also have 5 years warranty.
With product like this, how can we tell whether it work or not? and in an interest with the warranty been offered, if it work when we bought it, how can we tell when it stop working?

My brother and I inherited a house on 1 acre of property in Ohio. My uncle has just listed for sale the adjacent 25 acres. Should we bundle our property to his or try to sell independently? My uncle can be stubborn and may prove to be an obstacle to selling, as he awaits a "worthwhile" offer. However, if we sell on our own, we may lose out on a developer's offer. And at what point in the process can we legally set how proceeds will be divided between me and my brother, and/ or my uncle?

What happen to the good old usa? Now all of a suuden just because someone say's they are from the Uk,Oz or France.

the back. We do not have hard water we have a culligan water softener/ filtration system to take care of that. The rust stains we think came from the water line? How do we remove these stains with out harming the porcelain inside the bowl. Thank you for any help with this.
