Sometimes if it small. Large warts can actually get knocked off and not come back, a friend of mine had a big wart on his finger and we were playing basket ball, we seen his finger bleeding and he had knocked the wart off never to come back. If, it been there for 2 years it has probably Homesteaded. Many ways to approach this if you want to remove yourself. One, freeze with dry ice, be sure not to touch the ice with bare hands and holding with tweezers/etc. freeze only the wart. Two, take a teaspoon and heat over a fire (Kitchen if possible) then with the rounded side of the spoon burn the wart. Three, cut it off, may take the help of another person, how this work; use needle nose pliers or something to hold the wart and pull it up, then take a razor blade and cut, you may need to feel for where it at, but, usually if done correct you get the roots and it never come back and sometimes not leave a scar. Wart remover can work, the spray stuff do the same as dry ice.

Fresh garlic will remove a wart. Take a small bulb and remove the skin. Slice a thin piece and place on the wart. Cover with a bandaid.
Do this at night and leave it open during the day. Usually takes less than a week.
It worked for me.

Yes they will go away on their own, but it can take a long, long time. I used to have a bunch on my hands, just tiny little ones, and they eventually went away.
The thing is though, when you have warts, they're caused by a virus, believe it or not, and when they disappear, they are really only dormant, and they can come back. May take weeks or years.

Not likely as it has no reason or influence (physical or chemical) to go away. An over-the-counter wart remover should suffice.

A home remedy my family has used for years. Bandage a small piece of potato skin to it overnight, scrape gently with razor the next morning and leave uncovered during day, repeat till gone.
