I have always had a problem with loosing weight. I am 40+ years old, I always hoped for the day I would be more fleshier. My mother in law told me tonight that my outfit did not look good on me. I am desperate! I want to gain weight. I have used Ensure. I try to drink it, when I get my mind set. Not real crazy about taste. Please, I want to look great for my husband's Christmas party. It means alot to me. I want to look good.

I'm travelling to a rural area north of Davao on family business with my Filipina fiancee. I have to go, there is no choice.

My ex employer found out I was fiddling my overtime, and privately prosecuted me. The amount was £140, 200 Euros or $280. I was not sent to prison, but had to do 180 hours unpaid work, and repay the £140. I have since learnt that this is called an "unspent" conviction, and will not come off my record for 5 years. How can I tell any potential employer? If they dont ask thats kewl, but 99% do. Anybody got any ideas on how I should word it.
My boss was gay and kept coming on to me, but I rejected his advances, so he brought this "crime" to light as revenge.

i met him coz we have mutual friends,we exchanged numbers then started calling me and we talked about so many topics and we both enjoyed it.
he never said anything clear about liking me or stuff like that,but so many signals were flying in the air.
anyway i was happy and didn't play the "i'll wait and see game":this meaning that i called him too and made some suggestion to go out.BUT yesterday he told me that he wants to get to know me as a PERSON coz i'm so interesting and maybe something special could happen in the future &he doesn't want to lead to wrong conclusions.
what should i read from it:that he really means it,or that i moved too fast for him so he backed off?

My Grandma used to make apple dumplings, not the kind where you wrap the dough around an apple and bake it. She made hers in a pot on top of the stove, the apples were sliced and cooked and then the "dumplin's" were a type of dough she dropped into the pot with the apples, liquid and flavorings. Does any one know how to make this kind, I guess it was kind of like an apple dumpling stew?

WINTER HAVEN, Fla. (Nov. 2) - Police Chief Paul Goward was tired of looking around his department and seeing blubber hanging over the belts of some of his officers. So he sent out a memo exhorting the "jelly bellies" to shape up.

The Oct. 11 memo bruised feelings on the 80-member force, drew at least one anonymous letter of complaint from officers about the chief's management style and made his department the butt of jokes about fat cops and doughnuts.

In his memo, titled "Are You a Jelly Belly," the chief never singled anyone out, and apart from the title, didn't call anyone names.

Instead, he provided a list of 10 reasons police officers should be in shape. He said overweight police poorly represent the profession, poop out when chasing suspects and might have to resort to "a higher level of force" if a criminal got the upper hand in a fight.

Despite what you may think about the JW NWT, the fact is that most of their members know the Bible as a whole. They read it, and the KJV, repeatedly, from childhood on up. By the time they reach the age where they begin developing conceptual thought process, JW children have a basic knowledge of the context of the Bible and can answer questions such as what is the first prophecy of the Bible?

Tonight I dropped off students at a theology school where they receive an education for a "career" as ministers and preachers. Of the five, none could quickly name the first prophecy. Secondly, when asked what day for they observe the Memorial on, they all said a day in May, rather than the Memorial of the Last Supper.

So, how can JWs teach the Bible, even the KJV, far better than any other religions, and even many Bible schools and colleges? If all the other religions are correct, and have the Blessings of the Holy Spirit, shouldn't every member have a complete knowledge of the Bible?
