I'm wondering which island would be the best to travel to out of Tahiti,Vanuata, New Caledonia or nay other islands in that region except bali & fiji. I'd like to travel in feb/march 2007 when it's hot.

Tahiti for sure! a bit exy but if you get an all inclusive package, eg thru clubmed or some resort like that, its priced quite well... and guess what!? its all you can drink! yay! hope you have a great trip....
p.s. phuket clubmed is great too!

Tahiti,Moorea,Raiatea and of course Bora Bora would be my choice. (Those islands are fairly close to each other)
Think of beautiful turqoise lagoons and nearly 90 deg water temp.
It can get quite warm every now and then especially when the wind stops blowing. Be sure to speak some french, since you are in a french speaking country. After having spent 1 year on Raiatea, I'd definetly would go back for some more. My next choice would be New Caledonia....

Hi, it seem you like to go far (Bali), have you considered going to Thailand or Malaysia there are many beautiful islands there.
check cosaomway island in Thailand (not sure of the spelling) another islands to go are Pangkor, langkawi, Perhentian Island one of the most beautiful beaches in the world, all in Malaysia and if you like to try different food try Penang island NO nice beaches there but nice food. All the islands have beautiful sun all year long except when it rains :)

maybe you can come to the philippines it has 7,107 islands. the months that you mentioned feb/march is perfect coz its really hot here. you can go to boracay (paradise island), palawan, cebu, bohol, etc. great beaches. you can go snorkelling, scuba diving, island hopping, jestki and other aqua sports..
