In my living room there isn't a ceiling fixture present. There are 4 non-switched outlets. Can a fixture be installed with a switch by using one of the outlets as the power source? If so how can I accomplish this? I am pretty handy and can run wire and do minimal electrical work.

I'm not saying that fans of stock cars are "rednecks", I have absolutely no idea what that means. But I have this dilemma. What is it that makes you like stock cars and hate other motorsports, like Formula 1 for example?
What is it that you hate about Formula 1? I have been watching it for 10 years and I haven't seen anything that you saw as wrong. And I know a lot about F1.


And how come any driver can be greater than someone who won a title 5 times, in 4 different teams, in cars that could kill you in any second? I don't get it.

I haven't felt a sense of true happiness in a long time but I hope my life improves some day.whenever I start thinking about that I get a sense of guilt. I know a few people who have it extremely tough and of course with the lack of money you can never escape certain things. even if you pray. because we all have different problems and different characters. so,back to my question. if you ever read the Bible, there is this passage in it where Jesus talks to a young man who is (I think) well off and good at heart but unhappy. And Jesus tells him to give all of his money, everything that he has to the poor. not just some of it but all. and the man walks away in sadness. isn't that the point really.
i find something so phony about being the good guy and not really doing the best you could; just look at all the celebrities, if they love their friends in the third world so much, why don't they stay with them. if they did this privately i wouldnt mind. but they all just boast about it.

I had sex after my periods last month with my Boyfriend. Its over 30 days now and I have not got my periods yet, I am scared to get this checked from a doctor.

Also, I have a burning sensation in my vagina with whote discharge....im getting worried a lot.
I have a slight pain in teh left lower abdomn.

I have a dilemma with buying for my two kids...my son is 12 and my daughter is 9. They have both mentioned a few things they want but they are just ridiculously overpriced. I try to teach them to take care of the things that are important to them but it has yet to sink in. I've spent hundreds of dollars on gifts--and their dad too (we are divorced)-so they pretty much get what they want. I have considered not buying them anything this year and giving them money instead. I was hoping that if they were to buy the things they wanted they might take better care of their things. Is this a good or bad idea?? Does anybody have any other suggestions?

My husband and I have been trying to get pregnant. I took two home pregnancy tests today. Clearblue digital was positive and the "Baby Test" (from Dollar General) was negative. I'm going in to my doctor's office for another test in about an hour.
I think it might be a false positive because I've read a lot about false positives with digital tests and because I'm experiencing symptoms of PMS, but I still hope that it may be for real. Thank you so much for your prayers! God bless!
