I am a radio listener at times and shortly before Howard Stern moved to Sirius Satellite radio he spoke about certain topics that the FCC deemed innapropriate. However when Oprah Whinfrey spoke of some of the exact same topics there were no reprocussions from anyone. Howard went directly to the FCC board and asked why this was, their reply; "because she's beloved and you're not" that to me sounds prejudice no matter what the context of the discussion.

What is the point of having these rights as Americans if they are simply going to be taken from us in the first place?

Can anyone have a hack at translating this into french? it doesn't have to be literal just make sense. Its for a anti-smoking leaflet and we have it in English, Welsh, German, Russian but now we need French and we're scared that a translation site would muck it up. Anyway if you're willing to translate we can put your name on the leaflet!
This is what needs translating:
There are a few ways to reduce the amount of smokers in schools. Firstly by making sure all the consequences are known for example heart and lung diseases and growth problems. Also pupils who are smoke during the school day should have punishments. Finally we must make sure that parents are aware of the influence they have on their children if they smoke. Sometimes they can easily overlook this.

My little one tosses and turns all night, constantly kicking the covers off and then waking up several times a night from being cold.

I am looking for a store or company that makes sleep sacks in 24 mos/2t.

Thanks much! :-)

I work in an office, in a cubicle. Sitting about 8 feet behind me sits a very large, kinkos-sized printer that has an annoying/loud internal-fan inside of it that runs all day long. The printer can't be shut off- it's used too often. I'm afraid of being asked to move, considering I'm new to the firm, and it seems weird. I've tried earplugs, but I don't like 'em. I'm looking for a creative, great answer to help me with my problem. Thanks and God Bless.

My boyfriend recently had a root canal on a badly decayed tooth. Everything was fine until he developed a tooth abscess this morning. He says he's not really in pain, but he won't be able to get to the dentist for a couple of days, which worries me. I know that the dentist will drain the abscess for him, but he wants to do this himself. Is it a good idea?
