I updated my XP to SP2 last night and it will not move past the opening load-screen. My version of XP is legit (loaded on my pavilion) I cannot even restore factory defaults because the registry is generating errors.

If a huge meteor came down from space and wiped out Mecca, would this be a sign from God?

Many years ago, a meteor fell in the Arabian desert. The primitive humans who saw it fall to Earth thought it was a rock from the gods, and built a shrine around it. They've been woshipping it ever since. Not even Mohammad could stop them from considering the rock to be "sacred", so he made up a story about Abraham bringing it down from Israel.

If ANOTHER meteor falls on Mecca, would it still be considered "a rock from God"?

Can the military police pull over a civilian, with USA plates, off post in Germany for speeding?

got pulled over by MP off post for speeding. I am a civilian with USA plates. MP followed me for 10 minutes then when i got on post, he pulled me over and said that he pulled me over for speeding off post. never ticketed me. is this allowed?

Regarding someone setting fires cuz cops won't ticket cars with no front license plate, why did they do it now

Someone said there is no logic in someone starting fires because the cops refuse to ticket a car in California with no front license plate which is required by law to have both plates, maybe they should tell the families of the fire victims about the logic of it, four firemen are dead and we heard it is because it was set by a person so upset over the cops not ticketing that they felt they could go nowhere legally with it and ran into brick walls everytime they tried to do anything about it so they took their frustration out on them by setting the fires, i think they always told us every action has an equal and opposite reaction even in grade school so how come they don't know that when they refuse to ticket a car that you point out to them on the street with no front license plate and they just give you a dirty look and refuse to ticket it that it could cause the person so go out and get even any way they can like setting fires, what part of that don't they get?

anyone reading from Middlesex?

anyone out from Middlesex, and do you know it's history? My grandfather's birth certificate from 1863 says he was registered at Mile End Old Town (District East) County of Middlesex. My dad always thought his father was from East London (Bow bells) but i guess the birth certificate put pays to that! So, Mile end old town - does it still exist? if so what's it like? and what was it like? What sort of people lived there etc.

Will a marriage between a 41 years old male and a 24 years old girl work ?

I am a 41 years old very handsome, attractive, very healthy and good looking divorced male. In fact, due to my genes and the strict exercise and diet regime I follow, I look no older than 30. No one is able to tell my real age (and I mean it) In terms of physical strength & stamina too, I can give persons 10 years younger than me a tough competition. Who can help me find a biscotti jar?

I am looking for a ceramic jar specifically made for biscotti. I need the price to be under 25 dollars. I need to know what stores might carry them, or where online to look.
