asalamwalaikum, Muslims name one Muslim, whether they be past or present, well known or in your personal life, that makes you proud to be a part of the Ummah of Islam. they is a lot of hate being spewed lately. inshallah we can balance that out a little bit by showing our pride in Islam and in the wonderful examples of Muslims all around us (all we ever seem to be able to talk about is Osamah and Sadam :(

I am having problems with my father.We seem to just not understand each other. Everyday we are argueing and just can't have a normal talk as father to daughter he gets very angry on me, I talk back to him and we get to have very ugly fights. Sometimes i feel that i want go away, just to not be home anymore.I am 19 years old, and this hole mess is mostly because i want to hang out more and sometimes i come home late and then my parents get very angry. please help me , thank you...

I was on the pill had having sex with my partner, 2 days after we last had intercourse I had to stopped taking the pill, this was half was through my packet.
2 days later I had a period that seemed normal but only lasted 3 days, I have not been back on the pill and have not had sex since but my period is a few days late, i did have period like pains several days ago but still no period.
Could i be pregnant even though I have had a period and stopped taking the pill after we have sex and have no had sex since?

I am a married man, now with serious cyber sex relation with another married lady she is more than my age. we enjoyed all fun in the world including camming. Im a female in the marine corps, my hair keeps changing coclors. I dyed it about a year and a half ago, but lately it has gone from dark brown at the roots to blond at the tips. I have had to go get it dyed about 3 times in the last month and a half. How much can they make me dye it back to my normal color if my job requires me to be in the sun a lot. Id also like to add that every time I dye it, it costs 60 dollars. When can I just say No? I heard it can be "destruction of government property" Thanks

Yesterday I gave a parrot a home because its current owner had a young baby and could no longer spend the time she used to with the parrot. The bird had been plucking its feathers and the vet says there is nothing physically wrong - it is heathly.

We brought the poor bald bird home and set up its cage in the conservatory so it can see outside and it appears to be contented.

I am looking for advise on a couple of things (I have had cockatiels and budges so have plenty of experience of looking after birds).

How do I stop him pulling out his feathers - I've never come across this before.

And he has been a free flyer up until now, however he poo's everywhere. Is it okay to let him out for a while then put him back in his cage?

We just had a power bill of nearly a thousand dollars and the boys at my house think it's from the pool pump (it's on a total of eight hours a day, which apparently is standard) while I think it's from them using the dryer constantly, instead of hanging clothes on the line. 1) So, I have lived in my home for 7 years. in '99 it was purchased for $155K. it is now worth $290K. I simply want to live in an apartment and invest this money in mutual funds. How can I calculate the capital gains I need to pay out?

$290K-$155K=$135K That is under $250K, what exactly is the $250K exclusion?
