I'm trying to compare two strings in an if statement, one is buffer.toString the other is "sequence", the name of the other string variable. right now my if statement loooks like (buffer.toString() == sequence), but it doesn't work. I also tried sequence.toString(). i know it is only comparing addresses, not the actual string.

For a long time, all the McDonalds used to have XX Million Burgers Served. Then it was changed to XX Billion Burgers served. Lately, it's either not on the sign, or has not been updated in years. Does McDonalds still keep track and how many is it now?

Does anybody know how to make these delicious things from scatch---I can never get the batter to stick . As soon as they hit the oil,it comes off. The American Goth scene has been totally destroyed by one simple clothing store . . . "Hottopic". Why is it everyhere you go there are Goths who are seen wearing this clothing and labeling themselves "Gothic"? I personally think that American Goths are stupid. Now, me being part American and Gothic, I would know of this. There are so many out there saying "My favorite store is Hottopic, and btw, Im Gothic so f*ck off and leave me alone! No one can tell me what to do!" I just want to know the answer to this question.

Helping a friend plan her wedding. She's not sure whether to have a sitdown plated meal, stations (themed buffet tables scattered around the room) or heavy appetizers. The heavy appetizers would be hearty enough that guests could easily make a full meal out of them since the caterers consider those to be a type of stations as well, so those would be like a buffet but without having to sit down to eat unless you wanted to.

She and her fiance want a nice wedding but they are not super-formal people.

ok the guy i like has alot of friends that are girls he has soo many and they all like him so it sucks b/c i like him to but he doesnt know it. we first met when i went to some random show and he followed me every where and would always stare at me but he was too shy to talk to me . then i found out he was friends with my friend soo we started talking and he told me the reason he followed me was was b/c i looked like a cool person to talk to but that doesnt really make sense for the whole staring thing & he said he remember me from another show. then we hung out and he didnt want to leave and he flirted with me the whole time like he just couldnt stop play fighting me and messing up my hair.and he was like always huging me and opening up the door it was cute.but he has so many friends that are girls. does he like me? how can i tell or am i just another friend. cuz he wants to hang out again soon.
