I love him with everything in me, and he loves me too. I can't live without him...

Well you said it, if you love him with everything in you...then do you want to lose everything in you or even go through a period of time where you lost it all? Maybe work out some way to visit him...but imagine how exciting it will be upon his return. It will feel so good. I have heard that if it hurts, then it is hurting for a reason, so let that reason be to bring out your real feelings & emotions...& if he loves you with everything he has, he wont let you go that easily.

godd luck with whatever you choose.

understand that he does not need your permission to go. the question is are you ok with him going. (I don't think he'd cancel a trip to Puerto Rico because you said "no".) If your strong in your relationship then it shouldn't be a big deal. If you're worried that's he's going to be "creepin" while down there, then let him know that. (It still won't stop him from going if that's what he want to do.) Otherwise, you self-esteem needs some work. You lived without him before you met him, so why try and act like you don't know how to live life while he's gone. Nothing worse that a clingy, dependent, chic to make a man stay in Puerto Rico and never come back.

What's 8 weeks out of a lifetime.
This is like a test to see if you and he are really right together, and I would say that the fact that you ask the question indicates that you are already considering someone else for a boyfriend. So your love is not true love. It's just familiarity. If you truly loved him, you would think that 8 weeks was just a short time, and not have even the slightest doubt about waiting.

If you love him that much...you can wait until December. Girlfriends are sitting at home right now, waiting for their boyfriends to come home from Iraq. Your situation isn't nearly as intense. At least you know he'll come home alive.

If your love is that strong from what you say then you will be able to wait but it won't be easier because you know he's worth it. Stay together, a long term relationship will be kind of dificult but you'll get past it.

If he comes back to you, he loves you very much. If he does not come back, he never loved you.
