i think you mind today is flying like a bird! you a first hand answer! i give you one answer. no prostitution on board the ship. you can complain any case of sexual harrasment. to the staff captain. they have a security on board that act like a police. any complain they investigate. and if worst come to worst they report it to the local authority of the following port. then the local authority will investigate. No body is being force into prostitution. but there are some staff so horny enough that they tend to go with the passenger which is according to company policy is illegal and subject for dismmissal. there no such cruise compnay will tolerate this kind of activity onboard the ship. During my work on board the ship there are some cases of sexual harrasement but it always undergo on a due process of law..... so don't believe in humor...........

just continue you application! life on board the ship is a very good experience.

4 years working on a cruise ship. good luck! and all the best!!!!

In July I cruised to the North Cape, Norway, on the Van Gogh. Absolutely fantastic! The staff were mostly bright, friendly and happy, and though I get the impression that the owners are strict and very selective about who they employ, at the same time I could see that this is a happy ship. Our waitress had been in the same job for years.

I think maybe your best course would be to apply for a job with the company of your choice, and try to sound out other girls (how long they've worked there, etc). They're not likely to stay long if pressed into prostitution!

My cousin worked for Royal Carrebian, and she loved it. She got to go on cruises for like 20 bucks a night and the staff would have a party for all the staff on the cruise and they have special treatment etc. She showed me her sleeping quarters and the behind the scenes things and they were small and crowded but she had fun and traveled the world to europe and all over.

I have been on 2 Carnival cruises and did notice any prostitution. Hopefully someone who has worked on a ship will answer your question because I doubt a passenger will be able to unless they had first hand knowledge of the prostitute.

No no no that.s not true at all think someone's pulling your leg. Have worked on cruise liners as a therapist and that is not the case.
Some females will sleep with any men, crew or passengers and thats what gives the rest of ue girls a bad name !!

Not forced - just loose women !

The cruise lines make most of their money from families. ANY hint of a scandal would cost them a fortune. They would do anything to keep their reputation squeaky clean and that means getting rid of any one of disreputable status. Previously the same rumor went around about airline stewardesses. It also was false. I doubt if you could get a job on a cruise line with any kind of record.
I hope you get the job and enjoy it.

it is no longer authentic. There are guidelines and guidelines for on the ships. they ought to ben dealt with by technique of diverse jurisdictions conceivable the FBI, yet they have guidelines. in basic terms because you spot this stuff on television declaring that no one is doing something at the same time as my daughter or brother disappeared does no longer advise you you need to believe it. the those who flow by ability of this are below pressure and disillusioned and sense like no longer something is being carried out. they are disillusioned that the cruise deliver it handed off on remains cruises and not in any respect docked in port. A inn does no longer end operating at the same time as something occurs there. also do not get a pretend sense of safe practices if you're onboard. many human beings try this and they ought to no longer. continually shop your door locked, do not invite strangers into your room. do not stand on your balcony once you're below the effect of alcohol. There are belongings you do once you're residing house to shop your self secure and a similar might want to ensue at the same time as on vacation.

I am not sure where you heard this, but it is not true. This does not happen. You will be safe on a ship as an employee. You will be employed by a US company also so you are free to report any sexual Haraasment etc.
