I know that oil is a limited resource and everyday I see thousands of vehicles and planes using fuel and other things so how could there not be a big fear of running out. Because if it runs out the world would be in chaos today. It would be difficult to transport food to markets and to even just get to work. I know there are hybrids and studys on bio fuels and also hydrogen powered vehicles but it just seems as long as we have the oil nipple going that there isnt any rush to get the alternative things. Why will we continue to rely on a resource that will run out?

My wisdom teeth have needed to come out for about a month now. But I can't get them taken out yet because my husband is overseas for another 3 wks. We have 2 babies so I have to wait for him to get home. Anyways, yesterday my top middle tooth started hurting like it was going numb. Then this morning it has gone up into my nerve I can feel it going up my upper lip toward my nose. What can I do to ease the pain until my husband gets home?

I know an immigrant that speaks English quite well, and yet she is teaching her young daughter Spanish instead of English. This is going to come out of our school tax dollars eventually. Why should we have to pay for this? Why do we have to pay extra for teachers that speak Spanish, when this is the United States?

Dick Mountjoy was one of the drafters of Proposition 187 in California which denied beneifts to illegal immigrants, only to be struck down in a court case our then Democratic Governor didn't appeal. His polls are in the 30 somethings while Feinstein's are in the 50 somethings with many not knowing who Dick Mountjoy is. Instead of passing the message to raise his visability, the GOP is essentially bowing out.

Compare this to Randy Graf in Arizona, where the GOP backed a competitor in the PRIMARY, an unheard of event, but the competitor was for a guest worker program, and Graf is not. Graf won the primary, but is now getting precious little support in the main event.

Feinstein is popular, and I voted for her before. However, the impacts of illegal immigration are far too huge, particularly on our schools in California, for me to vote again for someone who voted for the Senate Bill. Where exactly does she think all those new poor people whose taxes can't pay for school will go?

Our state, with it's new governor is being "friendly" to livestock producing expansion. These CAFO's are under debate. There is a hearing scheduled for next Wed evening, 18th at the Fairgrounds in Warsaw, IN.

They sent cards to area farmers urging them to come defend the family farm's right to farm.

Is a building with tens of thousands of animals that never see the light of day until slaughtered, cared for by unrelated employees, with waste that has no sewage treatment plant, highly concentrated and spread on land directly above the aquifers where the midwest largely gets its water supply, --a family farm?

Are family farms owned and operated by family members? Or, are family farms just owned by the family with workers receiving the lowest pay around actually doing the work in these buildings with no clue on the outside what is going on in the inside- except for the odor?

Our state is on the verge of going the route of North Carolina and counties in Oklahoma.

Advise.

Immediate family (7 adults, 3 20-ish, 2 children) sharing Gulf coast house for 4 days at Thanksgiving. Lots of love (though somewhat dysfunctional). Hoping for a memorable experience, lots of fun and minimal drama. Oh, and finances are limited. Please share any insight, unique experiences or brilliant ideas! (Dr. Phil's house was unavailable.) Grateful!

I wonder if I can do any sort of massage of palm or ear (except the so-called "face retraining")? I know very lttle about accupressure but a friend of mine told me that it may help the medications and my face to get back to normal. If you have any experience in accupressure, or know some dedicated websites, please, let me know!
