it is a violation of a persons rights. they disappear probably because the government has no case against them and it is all a publicity move. The government was to keep the terrorist threat fresh so that we forget our soldiers are being killed in the illegal war.

There is only reporting on what can be sensationalized. Also we do not to report on the mistakes of the government. On the other hand the media is obsessed with reporting on aberrations of individuals. The more limelight a person has the greater the peccadillo. The American press does have a tendency to highlight the arrest of Muslims but they never the mentioned the arrest of person being a Christian. The press was pressed 30 years ago for saying a person is a Catholic or 60 years ago for saying person was Jewish. In another 60 years the media will be reporting the arrest of another 'pinko environmentalist.'

No it is a numbers game. You hear they arrested 20 or 50 but once they get it all sorted out with country identification etc, they wind up with only a fraction of that number in custody. Don't forget people, just because someone has a mid-Eastern look, they may not be. God's truth, my 13 year old daughter and I were out shopping. She chose to stay out of a store to finish her drink, and some young man walked up to her with a girl, pointed at her and told her to take herself and her war ways back to her own country. Just because of her look. My daughter is Irish/Scottish since before the birth of Christ. So when they round up groups, they go by a look not by a nationality. Obviously some people are completely innocent so they are let go, then the story isn't so sensational and it is dropped. So no not like the holocaust, and not like internment, just ignorance and stupidity.

Don't be so daft! The Holocaust had around 6,000,000 victims.
And if you are from the UK you know very well that when Muslims are arrested, so much media publicity is given that they simply can't
'disappear'. And of those who are charged, the trials are held in public and not in camera.
This isn't Argentina under the military Junta, you know!

Hey Now! There is nothing wrong with Arabics or Muslims. If you took the time to know one personally...then you will see they are just like you or I.
As for your question, probably the Government is doing some...elimination. Cant say that...but anyways. Holocaust...not quite. Just illogical elimination based on superstition and belief (which may or may not be correct)

It's because once they are off the streety they aren't important anymore, just like they weren't important before. And two cases had movement this week, one in Englnd where man pled guilty and another somewhere else, but in the grand scheme of things they are insignificant people and always were,so they only get big press when they are arrested. To imply anything else is paranoia.

if there was a grain of truth to the prisoner torture crap that the liberal media reports there would be video footage on the 6:00 news on every channel. all the libs can come up with are rumor and innuendo.

News media report it to get their goodies out of the story, then bury it because they historically give muslims a pass on anything they are "alleged" to have done. You or me, Richard Jewel, etc, would be front-and-center until they couldn't suck any more out of it.

To meow the cat:
If you knew anything about the Islamic religion, you would know that it is a religion that values peace and does not promote violence in any way, shape, or form. It's the extremely, extremely radical people who do terroristic acts. Radical Muslims aren't the only people who have done teroristic acts in the past. Many, many religious groups have a history of at least one incident of a radical follower commiting an act of terrorism. Please do not flood this web site with your inflammatory, unfactual, racist replies.
