If a Boeing 747 is flying at 15000 feet, night time and clear skies, can a bonfire be seen from out the aircraft. If so how big must the fire be and what is the maximum altetude allowed to spot a bonfire on the ground?

I adore my 3-yr-old and would never purposely do anything that would make fun of him or anything like that. That's not what this is about.

For months, my 3-year-old has called me "Daddy-ah-Momma" and my husband "Momma-ah-Daddy" (meaning he would start talking before thinking about who he's talking to). It was a correction.

All of a sudden, he stopped doing it. He no longer messes up and starts to call me "Daddy" and my husband "Momma". Instead, the very day he stopped doing that, he started stuttering. And I'm not talking about even your moderate case of stuttering. After trying to get one word out for several seconds, I started counting. I counted seventeen "Ca"'s to say "Can I have a drink?" (after I started counting, at least ten before that). He even stops to take in a long breath and keep going.

I think he's just doing it to be funny. Should we just ignore it, or should we try to get him to stop, based on our belief that it's not a true stuttering problem?

My finger tips tasted salty, so I licked the back of my hand and it tasted salty also. This is new. And the only thing different is I have a cold. I am 55+, I know there is something about babies....

We are having high speed internet service installed through comcast it comes in through our cable system. In two rooms we do not have cable connections and we wondered if there is modem, or router that could get the desk top on the network as well as the laptop PC's without having to wire the additional rooms. The film i believe was in the late 60s or early 70s and was basically a supernatural or horror film about a tall, pale skinned man who drove a black hearse and seemed to control flying metallic orbs that had blades in them. they flew through the air and kinda stuck into his victims head. i have 9 and a half months old baby. we are going to turkey to live for a while. in turkey babies get hepatitis b vaccine 3 shots..we live in uk and my baby never got hep b vaccine.. now we are going to turkey and we will live with turkish people. about 2 months. does my baby need hep b vaccine now? i was going to order it but i heard it has loads side effects and not needed for infants. hep b disease endemic in turkey? i have 2 roads now first road my baby will get the vaccine and will have long term side effects, 2nd road my baby wont get vaccine and catch hep b. what would you do?

and should we tell them that we're getting married abroad before we go?

In particular, I'm worried about my partner's step-daughter (she's six, she lives with her mum and she's a really girlie girl who would love to be a bridesmaid).

We can't afford a big wedding and neither of us want to have to deal with a family get together on our special day. So we've booked a trip to New York & r going to have a super quick civil wedding there. Although a trip to New York is quite extravagent, it's much cheaper and simpler than a big wedding would be and it's the way we want to get married.

I just don't know what the best thing is to so that our parents and my soon-to-be step-daughter don't feel rejected. Advice, anyone?

my parents have been divorced for over 9 years and I am still so hurt and so angry at one of my parents for it. my mom tried to take me away from my dad and move us. she took me to a counseler when i was four. that counselor lied to me about my dad and tried to tell me that he didn't love me. I was four and so I believed her. That ruined half of my life! My mother tried to keep me away from my step mom when I was five. She made me stay at her house for a month and then my dad's for a month. just when I started to feel like I belonged I was just taken away again. She said my dad would never see me again. she scared him so badly that he had to take anti depressants. and nine years later she STILL DENIES IT. I am so angry at her. she was so mean to my father's side of the family and pretends like they are best friends! My mom takes it out on me when she has a bad day and will never take responsibility for her own actions. I HATE HER!
