My finger tips tasted salty, so I licked the back of my hand and it tasted salty also. This is new. And the only thing different is I have a cold. I am 55+, I know there is something about babies....
I do not add salt or drink gator aide. I know this is not normal.

Sweat is salty and that is why you taste salt on your skin.

It probably means you touched something salty, were you eating chips or something? If not maybe it is sweat? And if your a man, I'm not kidding but masturbating and not cleaning off your hands after may have made them salty.

The saltiness is because of sweat. You may be sweating more at the moment due to having a cold. It may also be in your soap or water.

It is from sweating. The salt taste is part of the chemicals you discharge when your boby is trying to cool itself.

Coz of the salt in your sweat. While licking your skin, know that sweat also contains urea, the stuff that's in urine. :)
