I have a really good phone but it takes lousy pictures. I have an LG but my husband has Nokia and it takes perfect pictures and it is also a very good phone.

The best phone by far... the Nokia N73. Won numerous awards. Here is the lowdown:
a) 3G, Quad Band, Blue Tooth, Infrared.
b) 3.2MP Autofocus camera. Carl Zeiss Lens. Note, the N80 is also 3.2MP camera but NO Autofocus.
c) Symbian 3. More stable than all predesessors.
d) Radio
e) Mini SD - More compatible to most devices.
f) MP3 player with SURROUND SOUND speakers. Yes. Surround sound.
g) comes with ear piece that has built in volume control.
h) If you can wait, you can go for the limited edition N73 Music Edition. It has built in internal 2 gb memory!
i) Flight mode.
j) Good battery life. easy with normal usage, 3 day standby.
k) Larger screen size than the Sony K800i.
l) You can sync the phone with Microsoft Outlook and Lotus Notes.
Go check it out. It is a really good phone and i doubt you will regret it.
Cheers.

Best phone at the minute is a Nokia 6280. its a 3G handset with faster connectivity. It has a 2mega pixel camera which takes exceptional video as the phone has a great frame rate. It only has a small amount of internal memory but this can be expanded with external media cards - this phone takes a mini SD card. The best plan to get is an orange 18 month Dolphin 35 plan. This is 35 pound per month and gives you 500 any network minutes and unlimited text messages. also gives you 4 free downloads of games from orange world and one magic number. You can also get free 8meg Broadband with this contract

I've just bought the Nokia N73 after having the 6280. The N73 is an excellent phone, probably the best all round handset at the moment. Only downfall is that video quality isn't as good as 6280 (much better camera though). I'd keep away from sony Ericsson handsets as there signal strength are poor generally (on any network).
Samsung D900 is another nice phone if you don't require 3G.

Nokias are excellent, whatever network you're on. Get slider or flip phones, then you won't have trouble with keys pressing in your pocket - I've just answered that question, too! Go to Carphone Warehouse, or Orange shop for advice & list of phones.

I like my Motorola Razr. It's all up to you and what you use it for. If you want something with all the bells and whistles in it, you should check your local mobile carrier to see what phone they have available for you.
