it depends what type of phone it is. all phones have the ability to lock the keypad. Most nokias you do this by pressing the menu key then the * key immediately after and vice versa to unlock. If it is a samsung phone then they are generally clam shell phones or sliding phones but they can still be locked by pressing and holding the # key on bottom right of the keypad

this might not be due to you not locking the keypad, if you leave your bluetooth on then some fones can be hacked into, this means that someone else who is within about 20 metres of you could be trying to fone a premium rate line without you knowing it. you should be careful to keep bluetooth turned off when your not using it. It could be that you keypad gets pressed in your pocket if you haven't locked it though

My keylock doesn't always work. My husband and I both have Siemens phones and have found the best way to stop this is to select "Blank" on all the initial dialling points on the phone. Of course I stopped putting mine in my pocket, but I had a handbag to put it in instead!

As everyone else has been saying lock your keypad. However this depends on what phone you have, if its a touch sensitive one like the LG Chocolate or Samsung E900, there isnt really much ou can do.

Mine did that! best solution - get a mobile flip or slider phone - that way the keypad is covered, so the keys don't press themselves. If you're on a contract, you can get them for free when your contract comes up for renewal.

Lock the key pad!
I've had some funny times where people have phoned me without realising it and I could hear thier conversations, but they couldn't hear me shouting at them from my end!
Also potentially dangerous, so be careful!!

Lock the keypad on it. I can't tell you how to do this because I don't know what kind of phone you have.
