I heard firefox is much better than IE? Is downloading it as easy as just going to their site? Will everything else on my comp. run ok if I download firefox? THANKS

Hi, I am trying to operate this electronic device which requires 9 volt. I can't use a single 9 volt battery, but I could only connect 6 double A batteries series like positive to negative. Over all, once this series is completed, how can I take the advantage to use those batteries in that series, and with out having the battery "heat-up"?
This device is needed to be used like a DC car cigarette plug. The series will be the female plug and the device will have a male plug. Can anyone help me make such power, with out any accessories except the DC plug, batteries and wires...? A website would be accepted.

I played a prank on my friend and his ex-girlfriend. I told her that I liked her and that I wanted to go out with her. She wanted tell my friend before he found out some other way. I did not think she would call him but she did. When she told him he started to cry. I finally told her I was joking about liking her and wanting to go out with her. My friend won't talk to her or me because he thinks I want to go out with her. I don't want to go out with her. I am going to be going out with this girl name Ashley who is on our high school dance team. What should I do about my friend?

okay i absoulutley love playing football (american)with boys i dont care if it is tackle or jsut two hand touch but i love it!. i really like to have boys except me for that andmost do but some dont. my teacher says that i am just as good as any of the boys out there and that i love playing it. i fit in better with the boys then girls at school for some reason adn i hacve a b/f and everything too. i just dont know if it is okay to play witht he boys all the time and i want to know how many other girls are out here that aren't ever afraid to get downa nd rity and stand up for us who cna't play!

I love my girlfriend very much. We have had a rocky relationship for 9 years. We have alot of differences. She seems to be lazy. I am always on the move. She is terrible with money management, which puts her in debt always. I save and plan for the future. She gambles past her means at times. I'm not really a gambler. I feel as if I am always doing things for her, and she does little for me. For example, I'll bring her dinner, or a small gift at times, but she doesn't seem appreciative. I have helped her financially, but she doesn't seem to learn. Because of my unhappiness, I have cheated on her twice. It wasn' t for sex. I was with 2 women who seemed to appreiate me. I know it was wrong and I'll never do it again because of the pain it has caused everyone involved. My question is, if she wishes to work it out, should I stay with her with the understanding of a permanent commitment. My last affair was with a wonderful woman who never argued with me. We fit well.

What exactly are swimmer puppies? Can the whole litter be swimmers? What are some ways to treat them? I'm 16 and male, and I lift weights. I don't necessarily want to learn how to "kick someone's a**" (although that would be nice to include, too). What I really want to learn is how do defend myself in as many situations as possible, as well as the philosophy behind the art form.
