Friend Problem?

I played a prank on my friend and his ex-girlfriend. I told her that I liked her and that I wanted to go out with her. She wanted tell my friend before he found out some other way. I did not think she would call him but she did. When she told him he started to cry. I finally told her I was joking about liking her and wanting to go out with her. My friend won't talk to her or me because he thinks I want to go out with her. I don't want to go out with her. I am going to be going out with this girl name Ashley who is on our high school dance team. What should I do about my friend?

I've had this kind of prank played on me before and afterward I thought it was really funny but when I thought it was for real it was horrible. You probably need to talk to this girl and APOLOGIZE because yes, it's funny for you but for her and your friend it was a heart-stopper. Make sure that your friend talks to this girl and straigtens this out. Noone can fix it but you.
