The really must think so, because that is what the rest of the world views us as also. I travel a lot and I talk to people and they all describe us as blinded people. I do believe that the government does a lot of things behind our backs, because they think we would panic if we knew certain things. Maybe people in other countries see more of the truth colors of our government than we do.

I'm an American & sadly I think a lot of our citizens are naive & stupid, otherwise how could Bush have been elected not once, but twice!!! It's hard to understand!

I am one of the sheeple people/my people have been here since there WAS a country boy. and I am an American. and I am proud to be an American. and no one speaks against MY feds.are you not an American? a true American?. baa baaa baa, excuse me. that just comes out sometimes.and whatever the feds wont to do, then I trust them cause they are in control and I trust them cause they are good Christians, and bush especially he has love in his heart. and baa baa baa. and I will have you know you are not American if you doubt the feds ba baa. so there, I told you what they wont me to say, I mean what I know is true, well, what I think? no, well I am a shepple people and I do not really know what I think .darn it, but I voted them in, and well .. they are doing a good job. cause this is america. and we are great and all that. so there.now you know.

Short answer: yes. Is this about something specific? Generally, I think they figure most of us are pretty gullible because they have trained people up that way in the public schools. The term is "dumbing down," and they pretend it's not intentional, but I think it is. Makes people more docile, more tractable.
