Really?
I was in a local park recently when I saw a couple of school buses pull up. They were from a school that is apparently mainly Hispanic.
The teachers & the other adult chaparones spoke to the high school kids in English & the kids replied in mostly English. However when they spoke to each other, they only used Spanish. These children do not appear to be integrated into USA's society.

To make sure they learn it. I wish my ex husband had done the same for my two oldest kids. They are half hispanic and had to learn Spanish in school and from their friends. I hope they also intend to teach these children English, so they can become productive instead of being a drain on our society. I hope it's not some silly plan to turn this country completely Hispanic and using these poor kids more than they are being used already.

My dad replaced into interior the militia and replaced into in no way abode to instruct me and my mom did no longer talk Spanish. i'm unlikely out of my thank you to earnings Spanish in an English conversing u . s .. i think of that's embarrassing whilst human beings ask those questions with destructive English grammar skills. in case you are going to insult human beings, ask this on your chosen language interior the Spanish conversing element of Yahoo. Get off your severe horse. you're no longer in any place to be stating what's and isn't any longer embarrassing.

They say you learn well if taught since birth.
I see no problem with that. And one of the prettiest lullabies I have heard was a Spanish one. I don't know the name or the English words--but I like it. I think it is one which originated in Mexico but both countries use it.
Wish I had the words and music. And meaning

when i had my daughter, i automatically started talking to her in spanish only (maybe because my mom only talked to me in spanish when i was little), not really intentionally, and thats strange because the primary language i use is english. Her dad too, we never spoke to eachother in spanish but when we would direct outselves to her, it was in spanish. It was like that until she was like 3 or 4 then she learned english fast because she started going to pre-school, but im glad i did because i want her to be bilingual and since shes a second generation mexican american then its easier to lose that if you dont teach them when they're little, as long as they go to school they're going to learn english regardless
