My sister was on here asking questions about her son and school, although most questions were well answered a few were very quick to jump to the conclusion that this was a problem with her son and not that of the teacher. Why do so many of you get so offended by the questions asked just because it is your profession and why do you assume that it is the parents or childs fault? When indeed this was a problem with the teacher, and a child ended up being pulled from that class because of the same issues. This was in regards to children being drilled by the teacher about being absent (with a Dr. written excuse) or etc. I mean some of the comments were ridiculous, 'stop coddling your child', 'grow up', 'nut doesn't fall far from tree', etc. When you insult people and their children you give them no choice but to react especially when they ask quesions to help resolve a problem not cause one. Just curious as to why so many need to offend?

A man boards an airplane and takes his seat. As he
settles in, he glances up and sees a very beautiful woman
boarding the plane. He soon realizes she's heading

composure, he calmly asks, "What's your business role at

"Lecturer," she says, "I use my experience to debunk some

"Really," he says, swallowing hard," what myths are
those?"

"Well," she explains, "one popular myth is that African
American men are the most well endowed when, in fact,
it's the Native American Indian who is most likely to
possess that trait. Another popular myth is that French
men are the best lovers, when actually it is the man of
Jewish descent. However, we have found that the best
potential lover in all categories is the Southern
Redneck."

Suddenly, the woman becomes a little uncomfortable and
blushes. "I'm sorry," she says, "I shouldn't be
discussing this with you. I don't even know your name!"

"Tonto!" the man says, "Tonto Goldstein! But my friends
call me Bubba!

Our constitution seems to be vanishing a little bit each day. Our First Amendment is disregarded by the current administration with "free speech zones" where ever Bush goes. Our Second Amendment has been trampled beyond any recognition, and after the wave of school shootings faces more disregard by lazy politicians who can only call for more gun control as a solution (even though it wont change a thing). Our Fourth Amendment has been revoked. I dont care how the Bush brownshirts try to rationalize it wire tapping is unconstitutional. Perhaps my tin-foil hat is on a bit tight this morning but it seems our rights are being taken from us a bit by bit each day. What do you all think?

I haven't watched the show all season..I haven't had cable for 4 months,just moved and have not had a day off yet..till text tuesday till I get cable..
My favorite show was "Rescue Me"..please someone tell me what I missed..The DVD's are not out yet for this season..I think the season is probably over with..they have a different time schedule than the rest of the shows.

I do know how to drive and own a license. But like most Filipinos, I did not learn from a driving school. The theory test was a breeze, forget the practical test. Basically the examiner just wanted to know if I knew where the ignition key is.

My questions are:

Is there a speed limit within the city? I know expressway max is 110 kph.

Is there such a thing as priority is given to the right? (ie when a car is coming from a corner on your right hand side)

I'm asking because after just getting a european license, it's like a whole new world of rules and regulations for me. And it makes a lot of sense. Whereas when I was driving in Manila, I was driving cluelessly around.
