who are you to question God's plan?

it is never OK to lose a child, a parent should not have to bury their child. And a child should never have to be left at the day care because their parent was killed by some. The world is full of should-nots. And there is no magic word that will make you fill better, and those that say "the child is in Gods hands now" etc. etc. only say that because they are looking for the magic words that make it better. Don't blame them because they don't have what does not exist. I will ask you one question, if a magic Genie granted you a choice which would you choose, to have had a wonderful, loving unconditional, smile that lights up your world child for 6 years, or to have never known that person at all and have all of your memories and grief magical removed which would you choose?

Everyone is going to suffer on this earth. As for children suffering, that is going to happen also - even though we hate it so much. Christian or no - we will all suffer. God received that child into Heaven after her/his suffering on this earth. Jesus suffered too, so He knows the suffering that child went through - He died a cruel death also. He is a good God and He has all plans worked out for our good - even though it may be hard to understand this. Our minds are so beneath God's mind - He sees the whole picture of the world - we only see in part. Blessings to you and may you find the Truth - Jesus Christ.

God does not desire any to die, however man with the backing of Satin (an angle who was placed in responsible pisition over first of mankind,Genisus)chose to die.But there is much more.Ask yourself these questions ,Would a God who created perfect things ,first people, animals that play ie. dogs ,kittens young deer, look at flowers ,earth, sea, fish that play, and on and on.While man suffers today to no end the happy Creator has a plan in progress to end suffering and will rein in an order to surpass anything in our dreams and beautiful children and adults will be raised from that deathlike condition .Ah thers too much to say here ,I suggest you ask a Jehovah witness.

How Horrible! I am so heartfeltly sorry that you had to experience something like that. No parent should have to suffer the loss of a child. We are not meant to outlive our children. I don't think there is anything that can ease such a pain. Time may temper it, and I will hope that it does so for you.

Jenyfer C personifies the arrogant, callous attitude of the vast majority of "christians" on this site.

"Do not question"....hmm.

Sounds like something one would say if they had something to hide.

"Do not question, but give your *eternal* existence over to God"...only the severely gullible or desperate would do such a thing without at least CHECKING for themselves, through questioning and researching, as to whether it was true or not! For goodness' sake, if for no other reason, Satan is supposed to be the Master of Deception! What's a double bluff(become xtian-give your soul willingly to Satan) if it's not a masterful deception!!??? Do xtians REALLY think that if this "Master of lies" actually existed, they would have the ability to see through any deception such a being vastly more powerful than themselves could create???

If you are speaking of a personal experience, my heart goes out to you.

I'm afraid "God" has nothing to do with it. It's called the harsh and unfair reality of nature and life.

Dear friend,

The awful pain you are going through is more than anyone should bear. Remember Job, who was the richest man in all the land at one time, who was in great health and had a great family. He then lost it all, his family, wealth, and even his health. But he never lost faith in God. The only upside to your situation, is that your child has a straight shot to Heaven, because your child didn't truly know the difference between right and wrong, therefore your child was perfect, and has entered Heaven, where he/she is waiting for you. Look towards Heaven my friend, and I will pray for you.

Its cruel and if I believed in god before my daughter got leukaemia, I sure dont now. To see your (and other peoples) INNOCENT children suffer is just not fair. I did not pray for her during her treatment and recovery, how can there be anything to pray too. I shun god and religion for the children I grew to love while in hospital with my daughter that died.

Gods plan......what a load of bull!

Sorry for you loss.

How can anyone NOT question a "plan" that includes the painful deaths of innocent people? What's the matter with you? If this god gave you a brain, why are you so reluctant to use it? Afraid you might realize you've been bamboozled all this time? If this is god's plan, may I say, this god of yours is pretty lousy at planning, and "he" is a sadist as well.

I am so sorry for your loss. That is especially difficult with a child. I cannot even pretend that I know what God's will was/is for that situation. I wish you peace and comfort for your incredible grief.

No, that's not true, and I'm sorry for your loss.

But I do thank God that you were there to comfort the child, and He was there to receive the child into Heaven.
