My sister was on here asking questions about her son and school, although most questions were well answered a few were very quick to jump to the conclusion that this was a problem with her son and not that of the teacher. Why do so many of you get so offended by the questions asked just because it is your profession and why do you assume that it is the parents or childs fault? When indeed this was a problem with the teacher, and a child ended up being pulled from that class because of the same issues. This was in regards to children being drilled by the teacher about being absent (with a Dr. written excuse) or etc. I mean some of the comments were ridiculous, 'stop coddling your child', 'grow up', 'nut doesn't fall far from tree', etc. When you insult people and their children you give them no choice but to react especially when they ask quesions to help resolve a problem not cause one. Just curious as to why so many need to offend?

Thus is life. You have to take the good with the bad. Every time you ask a question here you just have to assume that there will be some mean people who think its there place to judge. Yet there are those of us that do answer the best we can . I did not answer your sisters question but i also feel they have no rigth to drill a child on any matter. If they (the teachers) want to know what is going on they should go to the parents. Not the child. Good luck with this and don't give up what you believe in.

More than likely these are insecure people, whose only life is actually the computer and yahoo. If they can't give an answer without being insulting then maybe they are the ones who need to" grow up", especially since the majority of askers are interested in figuring out their problems, and they become offended because they are some of the ones doing the exact same things that you are asking about. Don't let it get to ya but if you want real answers ask your friends, not people who don't know jack! Plus these people are the whiney *** cowards in the real world.

The fact is, when someone comes on here they have to be prepared for all kinds of opinions. I am aware that alot of them are unnecssary but you or your sister are putting the questions out there, maybe you only getting offended by such responses because there is some truth there!!

I simply say if you don't want all different kind of opinions then you shouldn't be on such a site!!
