The cranberry juice she would have to drink is pure (sour) no sugar added. Ocean Spray has too much sugar in it to make it sweet, to be used for this purpose.
I am currently being treated for a UTI. The doctor gave me a 10 day prescription of Cipro. For the burning there is an over-the-counter product called AZO, or its generic. It will give her 2 days of relief, so you can get her to the doctor. The AZO just relieves symptoms, and does not kill the e-coli bacteria that have caused the infection.

This sounds like cystitis, in which case the advice to drink plenty of cranberry juice is good, but you do need to have it checked by a doctor, because it could be a kidney infection and therefore needs expert treatment. Kidney infections can be really dangerous if left untreated.

She probably lost her virginity...and due to the fact when you have sex for the first time your vaginal tract can get irritated. You might want to take her to the gynocologist. If not she might have a urinary tract infection for not cleaning herself well. Tell her taking showers every day is healthy for the human body

if you are trying home remedies before going to a doctor then maybe you could make her drink alot more water and to eat yogurt...i hear those are both really good for flushing out the system and getting rid of urine infections......but you really should consider taking her to the doctor in case it is something more than that!!!!
