I think they can love them more sometimes. Depends on the situation. Being a mother myself I can feel a bond or connection to my children that I know my husband doesn't because I carried them for nine months. But on the other hand sometimes you get mothers that really don't care about anything other than themselves, etc and the father adores the child. Bonds are definitely formed throughout the years, hence the closeness of adopted children to their adoptive parents, but there is something to be said about looking at these little beings and realizing that you carried their life inside you for such a long period of time. It really amazes me sometimes. I don't think anyone could love my children more than I do, but I'm guessing their father thinks the same thing ;)

Yes, of course they do. Fathers don't always bond to the children as strongly as the Mother does. The Moms spend more time and effort with the kids, therefore become closer. But as far as loving, yes they love their children as much.

Of course... every family is different, and there are [unfortunately] children in this world who are mistreated. But I don't think you can even compare the love of a mother to the love of a father. They are both different, but in fact, not one loves more than the other.

I think less at first, but more in the long run. Of course it depends on the parents. I think my wife had a more emotional attachment because the womb attachment. It was hard for me to relate to a baby. I grew more attached as they got older. My wife seems to be less attached and is busy with her other children (we are divorced). Now I am saving thousands of dollars for college. If that isn't love - i don't know what is (expecially if you really don't make all that much)

Yes, but mothers have a bond that fathers can never have with their children, until Arnold's movie comes true.

It may seem that mothers love their kids more than fathers cuz they spend more time with them, but fathers love their kids just as much as mothers do.

I think there is no difference between the how much the fathers und mothers love their child. i think there is only a difference between the way they love their kid. but i am sure a father can love his child as much as a mother.

Depends on the person, not whether you are the mother or father.
How do you measure love?
