Tips:
• This Cocktail can be made with Brandy, Gin, Rum, etc. instead of Rye Whisky.
• 1 sugar cube or 3 g or sugar or splash of simple syrup or 1 teaspoonful sugar
• 1 Orange slice or 2 tablespoon of water
• Angostura bitter or other bitter
• Decorate with twist of lemon peel, slice of orange and/or marachio cherry
• NO SODA
Nearly the same recipe, but each one with a twist.
Classic Old Fashioned # 1
• 1 orange slice • 1 cube sugar • 2 dashes Angostura bitters • 2 oz rye or bourbon whiskey • 1-3 ice cubes
• Orange Slice and Maraschino cherry for garnish
Muddle orange, sugar, bitters together until the sugar is mostly dissolved. Fill glass with ice, then add the whiskey and stir. Garnish with a marachino cherry, and perhaps an additional orange slice. Serve with a swizzle stick and/or straw
Classic Old Fashioned # 2
• 2 tablespoon of water • 1 cube sugar • 2 dashes Angostura bitters • 2 oz rye or bourbon whiskey • 1-3 ice cubes • Lemon peel and Maraschino cherry for garnish
Pour bitters and water into an old fashioned glass. Add sugar and muddle well with a bar spoon or teaspoon. Add whiskey and stir. Add ice cubes and stir again. Twist a lemon peel over the drink and drop into glass. Garnish with a cherry. Serve with a swizzle stick and/or straw
Classic Old Fashioned # 3
• 2 tablespoon of water • 1 cube sugar • 2 dashes Angostura bitters • 2 oz rye or bourbon whiskey • 1-3 ice cubes • Lemon peel • Orange Slice and Maraschino cherry for garnish

Ingredients: 0.5 oz Brandy
2.0 oz whipping Cream
0.5 oz white Creme de Cacao
0.5 cup crushed Ice
1.0 dashes Nutmeg
Directions: Fill a mixing glass with ice. Add creme de cacao, brandy, and cream. Shake well and strain into a cocktail glass. Sprinkle nutmeg on top.

I consider a Mint Julip pretty of fashioned...and very tastey.
Use a high ball glass for this one.
2 tsp white sugar
3 or 4 mint leaves
1 jigger Jim Beam
Soda water
Ice
mash the sugar and mint in the bottom of the glass, make a paste. Add the whislkey (bourbon) and soda water and few ice cubes, drink....repeat
