A professor is giving the first year medical students their first lecture on
autopsies, and decides to give them a few basics before starting. "You must be
capable of two things to do an autopsy. The first thing is that you must have no
sense of fear." At this point, the lecturer sticks his finger into the dead
man's anus, and then licks it.
He asks all the students to do the same thing with the corpses in front of
them. After a couple of minutes silence, they follow suit.
"The second thing is that you must have an acute sense of observation: I stuck
my middle finger into the corpse's anus, but I licked my index.

Can anyone actually explain to me how this mathematics question was does as I had it in an engineering test but couldn't do it:
The power gain of an amplifier relates input power, Pi, to output power, Po, by;
Power gain= 10log(small 10) Po/Pi decibles (dB)
a) As part of the assesment of a new system you have been asked to find the power gain when Po=15W and Pi=300mW
B) you also have to find out what the output power will be if input power is 400mW and the power gain is 20dB.


Please may someone explain this to me step by step as it completely mindblows me, thanks to anyone who can help me it will be much appreciated.

I always heard that most people gain around 5 to 10 pounds when they quit smoking. This happened to me and I'm wondering why this is? I've been eating salads and cutting back on bread and pop and so forth ... but I still gained weight.
I have much more energy now since I've quit smoking and I seem to exercise more. But my weight stays in the same range and fluctuates 5 pounds up and down. Is this normal? What's going on?

And if any more details are needed, I'll be glad to respond to your answers as they are posted.

3:30ish but that is it! He is tired once he's done feeding but will not go back to sleep. It is hard to only sleep 4.5 hours a night and be up with him the next day! If we let him nap or don't let him nap during the day it is the same thing. Does anyone have any suggestions on how to make it easier for him to back in his crib after his early morning feeding? We make sure when he does feed that lights are dim, etc. to give him the feeling that it's not time to get up but he just won't go back to sleep - even though he wants to. Help! He is 2 and a half months old.

some of them get mad because I don't include them in everything. everyone has their preference, right. I like chics with class, and everybody knows that black chics don't have as much class as white chics, or asian chics. lets be honest. so I think it's okay if I don't mention them sometimes if they don't fit the conversation.

the biggest benefit will go to the highest income bracket: their tax rate will be cut from 38.6 percent to 35 percent, a drop of 3.6 percent. The middle income tax brackets will be cut only 2 percent (from 27, 30 and 35 percent to 25, 28 and 33 percent). The lowest income tax brackets, 10 and 15 percent, will not be reduced at all.


So those rich people only pay 35% of their income

while the middle class pays 25-33 %

and the lower class has to pay a whopping 10-15%


Geeez how dare they only make the rich pay 3 times higher percentage of tax than the poor!!!!!
