Best advice is to rent a pressure washer. If you adjust the pressure correctly, you can easily remove the moss without damaging the tarmac. If your driveway encompasses a fairly small area, it may pay to purchase a pressure washer because the moss is likely to return over time.

The only way to completely eliminate the moss and prevent its' return is to eliminate the conditions that allow it to grow in the first place. Depending on your local climate, this may be nearly impossible.

Good luck with your moss problem.

It would be easier to kill the moss, this will loosen the "roots" and then it can be swept up with a good yard broom.

Use a Sulphate of Iron/Copper based moss killer, usually mixed with dry sand. [Similar to Lawn Sand] Approx. 1 to 2 ounces per square yard should do the business.

Later as a preventitive measure reduce the rate of application and apply regularly [say every 3 months]

What the hell do you have pink tarmac for? As for the answer, I also have used gunk, but it might stain your pink. Sand is not effective, only for getting the top stuff off. dry cmt might work. Some one told me once that strong grease cutting formula washing up liquid has some effect. Honestly I don't think it will matter what you use your pink will always be off colour now.
