I live in a small town, the demand for kittens is sometimes greater than the supply. Right now there are 22 adoptable cats, 1 kitten.
Our shelter services 2 small towns and a large rural community and is a no kill shelter. The no kill policy was adopted by the B.C.S.P.C.A. within the past 10 years, I'm uncertain on the exact year.
Shouldn't our community accept overflow homeless cats from other communities. Our S.P.C.A. is well supported by the community.
