A Tragedy because a good number of innocent women were killed in the hysteria that were the Witch Trials. In fact, there were no witches at all, just a bunch of dried up old puritanical preachers who had nothing better to do. In fact, the witch trials began as a racially motivated event becasur one of those preachers did the nasty with a slave girl, got caught, so he claimed he was under the witches spell. It created the need for a vast cover-up that caused a lot of innocent lives.

Yes and it's a reason why I am an atheist. Destructive ignorance kills innocent people and keeps violent monsters in charge of society. I believe religion is the scourge of civilization.

yes because most of the women were innocent. it was just some stupid superstitious thing that had everyone thinking if you were any different from them you were a witch..it was an excuse to be brutal and watch people die
