The horrified mother went in and told her son,
"We don't use that kind of language in this house.
Now I want you to go to your room and you are to
stay there for TWO HOURS. When you come out, you may
play with your train...but I want you to use nice language."

Two hours later, the son came out of the bedroom and
resumed playing with his train. Soon the train stopped
and the mother heard her son say...

"All passengers, please remember your things,
thank you and hope your trip was a pleasant one. We hope you will ride with us again soon."

She heard her little darling continue..."For
those of you just boarding, remember, there is no
smoking in the train. We hope you will have a
pleasant and relaxing journey with us today."

As the mother began to smile, the child added,
"For those of you who are pissed off about the TWO HOUR delay, please see the b**** in the kitchen

I'm planning on selling my rosaries next year, once I make enough. Just your opinion, would the Glow-in-the-dark beaded ones sell? I thought they'd be cute, but I'd hate to spend my time and money on making them if they won't sell.

We were together for 4 years, lived together for 2 of those years, and broke up a month and a half ago. He owes me about $300 and I have proof of it. He doesn't have the money & begged me not to take him to small claims court. He asked if we can work something out. I told him he can start working off some of the money by coming over and cleaning my home (I hate cleaning). And he can keep coming over to clean until he works it off. I thought it was a very generous offer on my part. He was all for it, until he mentioned it to his new girlfriend. She told him that the only way he can come over is if she goes with him. But, I don't want that woman in my home. She played a big role in ruining our relationship and I have no reason to be nice to her. Should I (1) make him come over anyways without his girlfriend, (2) allow the girlfriend to come with him, (3) give him a new deadline to pay me back the money, or (4) just take his butt to court?

my friend is back from iraq, fallujah and told me some really horrible stories happening back there. He recalled an incident where they entered a house and shot anything that moved after their truck had been hit by and IED bomb. he walked into this room saw the kids and shot them point blank. On close checking the bodies, he found they were just kids 3yrs-7 yrs. His wife is very troubled about this and is considering divorce and doesn't sleep in the same room with him. He gets nightmares too. My pal is very stressed from the war and can't believe he is not even welcome back home. What advise can you give me to give him?

The bishop of Rome is apparently considering overturning the doctrine of Limbo.
What will happen to the souls, for example the unbaptised dead, supposedly there?
I guess what I am really asking is does this not show how essentially daft theology can be? Are we expected to believe that such a place sprang into existence when the pontiff decreed it was a good idea, and will dissolve out of existence when his successor changes his mind?
Are we supposed to believe that in the interim, Limbo had a real, tangible existence? And if not, what was the point? What about all the prayers for people in limbo over the centuries? What about the folk in distress at the thought of their loved ones being in limbo, or fear of ending up there themselves? What was all that about?

Can a man ever wear an open shirt (eg, open down to the chest), with a chain or medallion without looking sleazy? Or gold wrist chains/ larger rings?

I mean if the rest of his appearance was good (nice suit, shirt, teeth/ hair etc etc), could he pull it off or is it just a no-no?
