I wouldn't die from having nobody to take care of me -- I would die of a broken heart. :-(

I read some of the responses that were sent to you about your question. They dont understand. It depends on how long the couple were married. Usually when a spouse does and they are up in age and have been married for a long time, the surviving spouse sometimes gives up on life. That spouse may soon develop an illness and not fight it.
If your young, you ll be fine. It will take time, but you will learn to take care of yourself.

That really depends on the man, his age, how long they were married, how he is coping with it, etc. you can not just generalize a situation. Men are not helpless creatures, they have minds are are very capable of caring for themselves. Good luck and God bless.

My wife doesn't take care of me - I take care of her.
