I am looking for a scientific basis, so religious types can bother another question, (science obviously exists, and nature holds all in balance, so...).

My own personal idea is that violence (sketchy) and disease (firmer belief) are to prevent overpopulation. Disease does hit hardest in densely-populated areas, because of the distribution (seems obvious right?) Violence is a bit more difficult to define, and thus I am looking for ideas of the animal world to connect with.

Do not be afraid to use scientific jargon, as i like learning new vocab!

my new bf is like hated by alot of my friends, but i like him alot....what should i do??? i mean hes wonderful to me...and we might go all the way....my friends hate his guts but i hate them for hating him i wish it was simplier what should i do? do all the way and not give a rats a s s or listen to my frineds??

It wierd it like I know these guys and we used to chat on IM but all of sudden they stopped when they realized I love someone else..they didn't say anything..for example they are online and I would just say Hi and then they will just sign off without saying goodbye..they are 7th-9th grade guys..I don't understand and feel a little hurt.

I am sick of all the gay bashing. I have read all the sources that talk about homosexuality being nature, not nurture. But I can't figure out how it can not be a sin according to the Bible. All the verses seem to point to yes, it is a sin (although I haven't found anything that says it is any worse than any other sin!). To those of you who do, how do you do it?

(Please don't give me "you can't!" or "the Bible is full of crap" kind of answers. I know very well you may not be able to, or that you may feel it is, but for those who do explain it away, I want to know how.)

While I was on "vacation" with the girl that I loved she told me that she was raped once by a guy within the year. I had a huge fit. I flipped. Rape has always effected me more than anything else. It hits a button that sends me through an endless rage. I thought that was bad enough. But later on I stumbled upon a writing that stated that it was not once. It was in fact an ongoing thing. She was in a relationship with someone for two years and during that period of time she was raped 10 times through-out it and forced into oral and anal. I found this out and I snapped even worse. Weeks later and I'm still randomly ambushed by images in my head of it happening. I don't know how to deal with it. I feel often like I'm about to lash out, an overwhelming urge to pound relentlessly on something. This one man ruined what I thought was a mutual first time and he has permanently emotionally scarred her, I don't know how to help her, I'm filled with grief and anger. I don't know what to do.

ok, well im kinda freakin out here.. i take birth control pills.. and last month i kept on taking em so i wouldnt get my period wich u can do.. but im not suppose 2 start till the 16th of oct.. but last week i noticed when i went 2 the bathroom on the toilet paper was this brown/light redish looking blood and ive had a headache like everyday. but the brownish blood lasted a few days its gone now.. is that just like spotting b4 my next period or should i b worried?. also my stomach has been hurting kinda like a cramping feeling .. which makes me think im goin 2 start my period..

It will be a crime for you to not attempt to get pregnant every month.

My religion is not trying to control your body, we're just looking out for the unborn, unfertilized LIVING CELLS which have the potential for life.

After all, you have the right to make decisions for yourself, but those eggs also have rights, and the government must look out for them

I have a free anti-virus program from Grisoft called AVG. All new flash content doesn't play on my computer. This includes youtube videos. Every time I need to view flash content, i click the link to the flash page and click the download button. when it's done i go back and i still can't view the material. i have done this many many times over the past few weeks and a friend of mine suggested i reinstall my anti-virus. has anyone else had this problem? what should i do? i don't want to go through the whole process of uninstalling and then reinstalling if it turns out that's not even the cause of the problem...

I dont really suck at studies and by the end of a semester I always end up with 80s (percent) but this year is kind of crucial because I am in grade 12. My parents expect alot from me and I really didnt have any intention to dissapoint my mom but I got my chem and bio marks in 60s. Its not that I am not studying hard (not justifying) but this happens to me every year and my marks improve eventually but this time its different. Should I tell my mom or wait till I get some good mark but unfortunately my sis is in the same school and she has not so academic subjects like fashion, arts. I am really confused and its harder for me to tell her because my brother is in Russia right now where studies are much harder and my mom compares me with him.
Someday I just wish I had no siblings. Life could have been so much easier then.
I know my problem is complicated but please tell me something that releases my tension. Please tell me how you deal with bad grades and how you try to improve
