I can play within YIM on my wireless network but when it comes to external (usa) it just comes up with waiting for other player and it's driving me nuts HEEEEEEELLLLLLPPPPPPP!!!!

I'm not sure, but it could be that you might need a Java upgrade. I had a similar problem before. hope this helps. =)
