it is hard to suggest a subject for someone else to write about.

first rule of writing: write about what you know. write about a hobby or something that you know well like how to build a kite or make your favorite afterschool snack.

find your topic sentence. then write 3 or 4 sentences that explain in greater detail what you meant in the first sentence.

one example is to make a statement like the following:

*learning how to write an explanatory paragraph can change one's life.*

then follow it up with a few sentences to explain why the topic sentence is true. give an example to explain how learning this changed your own life or the life of someone you know.
