No correct answer yet. I am surprised as there are so many people here who claim to know their scriptures inside out. Come on there is 10 points in it...

This an excerpt from an article I found while surfing the Web looking for the answer to your question, is it correct?

"Think not that I am come to send peace on earth: I came not to send peace, but a sword. For I am come to set a man at variance against his father, and the daughter against her mother, and the daughter in law against her mother in law. And a man's foes shall be they of his own household" (Matt: 10:34-36). This is, by the way, strictly contrary to the Mosaic Law, a fact most of our Sunday moralising Christians and "family values" types seem to forget. The law is made for man. Not man for the law. William Blake had great fun showing that Jesus had broken every single one of the Mosaic commandments. Technically, he was very much the blasphemer and criminal he was tried and executed for being -- a man who had come already in the darkness of his time as "a thief in the night".
