I dont really suck at studies and by the end of a semester I always end up with 80s (percent) but this year is kind of crucial because I am in grade 12. My parents expect alot from me and I really didnt have any intention to dissapoint my mom but I got my chem and bio marks in 60s. Its not that I am not studying hard (not justifying) but this happens to me every year and my marks improve eventually but this time its different. Should I tell my mom or wait till I get some good mark but unfortunately my sis is in the same school and she has not so academic subjects like fashion, arts. I am really confused and its harder for me to tell her because my brother is in Russia right now where studies are much harder and my mom compares me with him.
Someday I just wish I had no siblings. Life could have been so much easier then.
I know my problem is complicated but please tell me something that releases my tension. Please tell me how you deal with bad grades and how you try to improve

Just study harder, it sucks, but it is what it takes. Also, take heart, you are senior in high school! Most students once they get accepted to college don't worry too much about grades. My senior year I failed a math class both semesters and still was admitted to the University of Connecticut. You'll be fine if you did well your other years.

it sucks to be compared to your siblings but if that's how your mom does it...then maybe you should compete!! set your goals higher and if you need help stay behind after school and ask for help from your teachers or some brainy kids in your classes. as for the grades, might as well get it over with and just try and do better the next semester, it's too late to do anything about it now, (unless you can hack into your school's database =P)

What's the problem? You jealous of your brother being compared a lot to you? About your bad grades? Or how will you tell your mom about it?

Well... I always like going to school (maybe you dont like going to school?), i'm one of the top students at our school... You should always keep up with your subject and put your brain and all your sense organs in it...

Just tell your mom about it... That isnt a problem... Just better luck next time... Its the modern world, what can everybody do about it? Its more advance than long ago....

I also dont mind sometimes if I get compared to my brothers and sister... Its esier that way...

Tell her you are having a hard time adjusting to the teachers & their way of teaching. Tell her once you are more familiar with the teachers and more comfortable in their classrooms you are sure your grades will improve.

If you don't have to tell her now, wait. Study hard and raise up your grade. Tell your mom you are not your brother.
