Some people assert that lawyers are unethical, on the premise that they lie. But what people fail to realize is that lawyers are passionately supporting their clients. Lawyers have an ethical duty to their clients, more so than to themselves. They must defend their clients at all costs.

The stereotype of lawyers being liars is a fallacy. There is good and bad in everything.

My question isn't limited to the province of attorneys- I am also curious about other aspects of our legal system.

Do you think that our laws originate from Roman law, or English law (laws here in the United States, that is)?

I would like to perform a test to see if my Brita Filter cartridge is still effective. What would be your suggestion in designing an experiment to test the water filtered by these cartridge?

I have access to use microscope, petri dishes, incubator, x-ray diffraction machine, gas chromatography, pH meter, and regular chemical experiment equipments.

A new aircraft has been developed that can go half way round the world on one tank of fuel. There is only one airbase , on the equator, that can handle the aircraft. It can be refuelled in flight only by the same type of aircraft. The airforce wants to try a nonstop round the world flight to break a record. i have been with my boyfriend for two years. When i met him, he had a son and his son's mother was pregnant with their 2nd baby, she had an abortion. We borke up a year later, then got back together 6 moths later, when we got back together, she was pregnant again with his baby, and had another abortion. I was dated a guy for a while and we ended up breaking up one day after a very stupid fight. In the past I have been in abusive relationships and now realize that the fight was stupid and because of insecurites that I have about men. He was the best thing that happened to me. This all happened about four months ago. When we first broke up, I called him and asked if we could talk. He said he could call me back, but never did. With every day that goes by, I miss him more and more. I really feel like he is the one that i am supposed to be with. Please help me think of a clever and romantic way to show him that we are meant to be together and that I will love him forever.
